The United States Power Squadrons® is a national organization, comprised of 33 districts. Each district is in turn a union of different local squadrons in a general area of coverage.

District 9 has 15 squadrons located in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The squadrons range in size from about 20 to over 150 members. District 9 has over 1000 members. You can find USPS members boating throughout the United States and in some foreign countries, in waters of every type and in boats of every size and style.
